TSC awarded constract for a design review of 4 stadia for the African Cup of Nations 2010
BUSSUM, 5th of April 2008
On behalf of the DAR Al-Handasah group, TSC's consultants will carry out a design review of the four stadia which will be used during the African Cup of Nations Tournament in 2010.
The four stadia have been designed and will be constructed by a Chinese consortium:
- Luanda, 50,000 seats;
- Benguela, 35,000 seats;
- Cabinda, 20,000 seats;
- Lubango, 20,000 seats.
The review will be carried out in close collaboration with the experts of the DAR-group, which is one of the largest engineering and consulting firms in the Middle East.
TSC will specifically focus on analysing the
design on following aspects:
- Floodlighting;
- Sound system;
- Safety requirements;
- Security requirements;
- FIFA requirements.
