TSC awarded consultancy contract for the Topsport & Innovation Park Nijmegen

The City of Nijmegen, The Netherlands, has awarded a consultancy contract to TSC to analyse and assess the plans for the proposed new Topsport & Innovation Park (TIP) in the city.
The Topsport and Innovation Park, which will be located in the Goffert park, will consist of a new 20,000 seater stadium for Dutch Eredivisie Club NEC, a multipurpose indoor sports centre as well as of an educational institute, sports medical facilities and commercial offices. The idea behind the concept is to achieve synergy between various parties in the field of sports, medical and education.
Because of its location in the middle of an historic park a special feature of the TIP will be its green embedding.
TSC's role will be to analyse the existing project concept, plan and feasibility study in the following areas:
- Integral TIP concept;
- Stadium exploitation and operations;
- Feasibility of the integral TIP vs. feasibility of its independent components;
- Operational organisation of the TIP;
- Operational budget for the stadium;
- Stadium program of requirements;
- Parking requirements.
