AN INTEGRAL DEVELOPMENT APPROACH
As we believe that "stadium projects fail at the beginning rather then at the end", TSC uses an integral development approach which is based on a structured project management methodology commonly used in complex building projects.
This approach is characterised by three essential elements:
- phasing the project into separate and distinguishable phases;
- deciding at the end of each phase if and how to start the next phase, on the basis of standard and clear decision documents; and
- managing the project on the key aspects Time (planning), Money (budget), Quality (performance), Information and Organisation.

"This approach warrants that our stadium projects will meet their performance objectives (safe, profitable and compelling) and at the same time will be realised within planning and within budget", according to Ben Veenbrink.
The services provided by The Stadium Consultancy are tailored to the specific requirements of each project phase:
- Initiation: feasibility analysis;
- Definition: concept development;
- Design: stadium design and masterplan
- Preparation: tendering and contracting;
- Construction: operational planning;
- Operation: training and professional development.
Based on the methodology described above TSC can act as the Client representative and provide project management services throughout the stadium development process. Where necessary or requested by our clients The Stadium Consultancy offers specialist consultancy in a range of areas.
