| Project Description: | In 2010 Angola will host the African Cup of Nations (CAN 2010). For this purpose four new stadia will be developed in Luanda (50’000 seats), Benguela (35’000 seats), Cabinda (20’000 seats) and Lubango (20’000 seats). Contracts for the design and build of the four stadia have been awarded to a Chinese general contractor. The Government of Angola has commissioned a design review of the stadia to the DAR-group from Egypt/Lebanon. |
| Services description: | TSC has been contracted by the DAR-group to assist them in the design review of the four stadia, whereby TSC will focus on the specific stadium related issues of the design such as FIFA requirements, safety & security requirements, floodlighting and sound system. |
