Project Description:

In 2012 the European football championships (UEFA Euro 2012) will take place in Poland and Ukraine. Both host countries are developing their stadium infrastructure for the tournament. Each country is developing or redeveloping 6 stadiums. Warsaw, Gdansk, Poznan, Wroclaw, Chorzow and Krakow in Poland and Kiev, Donetsk, Dnipropetovsk, Lviv, Odessa and Kharkiv in Ukraine. In order to monitor whether the stadium (re)development projects will be delivered in time and will meet the tournament requirement for Euro 2012, UEFA has set up a monitoring system which will be applied from 2008 till 2012. All stadia must me completed by 2010 in order to have sufficient time to run test events at maximum safe capacity in the stadia.

Services description:

TSC was responsible for developing the project monitoring methodology for the 12 stadium projects in Poland and Ukraine on behalf of UEFA.
 The monitoring methodology consists of review meetings in both countries and a system of regular reporting to the UEFA monitoring team, using standardised report and presentation formats. Monitoring takes place on the aspects time schedule, project budget, design quality, organisation and information.
TSC director and founder Ben Veenbrink takes part in the review sessions on behalf of UEFA.
