Project Description:

After the Grolsch Stadium has been extended to 24’400 capacity in 2008 (phase I), the club commissioned the construction of 7’500 sqm. commercial areas in the West wing of the stadium in 2009 (phase II). With construction of phase II underway, FC Twente wishes to further increase the capacity of the stadium to 30’000 -32’000 seats. To realise this a 2nd tier will be constructed on the East stand (after the West and South stands), which will create 5’100 seats. Optionally the moat around the playing field will be converted to seating terraces, which will further increase the capacity by some 2’000 seats.

Services description:

TSC will act as client representative for FC Twente for this project, supervising the design team, the contractor as well as specialist consultants, which execute all studies required for obtaining the planning and environmental permission.
TSC will be responsible for all contacts with external stakeholders, such as City, police, fire brigade, etc.
TSC will report directly to the Board of FC Twente ’65.
