The leading concert promoter in Czech Republic, Live Nation, has hosted several concerts and events in the stadium with capacities up to 34’000. However, the current design of the stadium is not fit for purpose for hosting mass non-football events. In particular the safe access, egress and evacuation of all spectators during a concert is a key issue of concern. In addition converting the stadium from football mode to concert mode, loading and unloading of trucks is highly inefficient which makes concert productions expensive and not viable. Other areas of concern are the limited to zero rigging capacity of the roof, the noise curfew applicable (residents) as well as the protection of the pitch. |
