The Stadium Consultancy have prepared the Employer’s Requirements for Sports Campus De Braak in Helmond (the Netherlands). The redevelopment of this public sports park consists of a new masterplan for the entire sports complex. In addition to the sports complex main building, the project includes (training) pitches for Dutch professional football club Helmond Sport and the local amateur clubs as well as parking and all kinds of pathways and areas to promote health, sports and exercise.
The eye catcher of the project is the development of a new combined facility existing of the new stadium for Helmond Sport (4,500 seats), an indoor sports hall, healthcare facilities and a high school. The Stadium Consultancy prepared the Employers’ Requirements for this facility, based on several workshops and integrating the four individual programmes of requirements of Dutch professional football club Helmond Sport, Municipality of Helmond, high school OMO and physiotherapists JVDI into one integrated document.
The Employer’s Requirements will form the basis of the tender for the selection of the design team, which will start on 8 January 2019.
In an earlier stage, The Stadium Consultancy was responsible for the preparation of the feasibility study for the project and the individual Employer’s Requirements for the stadium part of the project.
