The Stadium Consultancy has been commissioned by Dutch football club N.E.C. Nijmegen to prepare a feasibility study for the redevelopment of the Goffertstadion.
Recently the Club has signed a Letter of Intent with the municipality of Nijmegen to buy the 12,000-seater Goffert stadium. The objective of the club is to create a boutique stadium with enhanced fan experience and to maximise the potential income for the club on matchdays as well as non-matchdays.
During the feasibility study several scenarios will be developed and tested which include, amongst other, an increase of capacity, the redevelopment of the main stand, the inclusion of sports medical facilities and an enhanced level of fan experience in and around the stadium.
The Stadium Consultancy is responsible for preparing the:
- Technical and financial feasibility study;
- Programme of requirements (employers’ requirements);
- Various alternative scenarios for redeveloping the stadium.
