Work is in full progress at De Braak. This new sports campus is a multifunctional complex which includes a brand new 3,500-seater stadium for Helmond Sport, a high school for OMO, an indoor sports hall compliant with Olympic standards, an accommodation for amateur football clubs and various health care facilities.
On behalf of the parties involved, The Stadium Consultancy prepared the feasibility study for the redevelopment of the area. We defined the masterplan for the entire complex through an interactive process with all stakeholders. The projects aims to increase sports participation and to promote healthy aging in a sustainable environment.
After a green light from the city of Helmond, The Stadium Consultancy prepared the Employer’s Requirements for the total redevelopment of ‘De Braak’. Additionally, we’ve developed the Employer’s Requirements for the procurement of the pitch floodlights. During the design process we were a part of the Design Team, delivering expert knowledge on football stadium specific items.
The construction of the complex is set to be completed in 2025. Pictures of the progress can be found here: https://campusdebraak.nl/media/.
