KING ABDULLAH SPORTS CITY

The Stadium Consultancy was contracted by the general contractor of the King Abdullah Soccer City Stadium to assist in the commissioning of the stadium, ensuring that the stadium fully complies with FIFA and Green Guide requirements.

For this purpose The Stadium Consultancy developed a commissioning plan and procedure consisting of the following steps:

• Design compliance review;
• Functional/spatial commissioning of all stadiums areas;
• Commissioning of all MEP systems and installations;
• Commissioning of all life safety systems and other event specific installations, under maximum load.
• Commissioning was executed on site in three stages:
  two pre-commissioning rounds and one final commissioning round.
